TORONTO — In celebration of the newly announced Canada Strong Pass, which offers free access to national parks through the end of 2025, Intrepid Travel has launched a limited-time 20% discount on all of its Canadian trips — exclusively for Canadian travellers.
The promotion, valid for bookings made between June 12 and June 26, 2025, applies to departures from June 16 through Dec. 14, 2025. The timing aims to encourage last-minute summer bookings and scenic autumn getaways, aligning with a noticeable rise in domestic exploration.
Intrepid reports a 5% year-over-year increase in domestic travel within Canada. In May, Canadian trips broke into the top 10 best-selling destinations for Canadian travellers within the company’s global portfolio.
The upward trend isn’t limited to local travellers. International interest in Canada is also rising, with bookings from Europe, the Middle East and Africa up 21%, and demand from Australia and New Zealand climbing 7%.
“Canada’s travel profile is rising on both fronts. Canadians are rediscovering the incredible adventures in their own backyard, and international visitors are looking to Canada for their adventures,” said Christian Wolters, GM of Canada at Intrepid Travel. “With this sale, we’re hoping to make it even easier for Canadians to get out and experience more of the country.”
Intrepid’s 20% sale includes the following:
- Discount: 20% off all Intrepid Travel trips in Canada
- Eligibility: Canadian residents only
- Booking window: June 12 – 26, 2025
- Travel window: June 16 – Dec. 14, 2025

Intrepid currently offers 11 land-based small group itineraries across the country, each featuring at least one national park. Options range from fully equipped camping trips in the Rockies to active, culturally rich journeys through Eastern and Western Canada.
Top-selling Canadian trips this summer include Hiking in the Canadian Rockies, a seasonal bestseller that includes off-grid canoeing in Wells Gray Provincial Park, and Maritime Highlights, which covers Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island, with additional fall departures added due to strong summer demand.
Other notable experiences include Métis-Led Aurora Experience in Smoky Lake, during which guests will stay at an Indigenous-owned ledge in a Dark Sky Preserve; Canoe & Camp Along Clearwater Lake, a two-night backcountry canoe trip that goes completely off-grid; A Fisherman’s Feast on the Shores of PEI, which includes a traditional boil on a private along; and Ceilidh Night in Cape Breton, featuring highlights like a traditional ceilidh performance in Baddeck.
