Applications now open for ACTA’s 2025 International Destination Conference

TORONTO — ACTA has unveiled the location of its 2025 International Destination Conference, taking place from Oct. 27 to Nov. 1, 2025.

In partnership with the Tourist Office of Spain, this year’s conference will be held over six days in Castilla y Leon, where travel advisors will immerse themselves in local culture, connect with local providers, improve product knowledge and develop social media business-building skills.

“Castilla y León is the perfect destination for our international conference, offering a rich blend of history, culture, and hospitality,’ said Wendy Paradis, ACTA President. “With its dramatic landscapes, UNESCO heritage sites and culinary experiences, it provides an inspiring setting for connection and innovation in travel. We are excited to bring our members together in this extraordinary region.”

Travel advisors must apply online before midnight EST, Friday, June 13, 2025. Only ACTA member travel advisors will be considered, and those with a professional CTC designation will be given priority. The conference is only open to travel advisors, no companions.

Those selected to take part in the conference will be notified by July 3, 2025, at which point they’ll be asked to provide their booking details, agree to a code of ethics and submit a non-refundable conference fee of $799, based on single occupancy. This includes all transfers, single occupancy accommodations, food and beverage, and a custom itinerary.

Airfare is not included in the price however, ACTA is working with select airline partners to offer discounted rates for those selected to attend. Flight savings information will be provided upon acceptance.

Advisors who are not currently ACTA members can submit their membership application at www.acta.ca/membership.

ACTA’s inaugural International Destination Conference took place in November 2024 in the Azores, with an eight-day itinerary that took travel advisors to the islands of São Miguel and Terceira.
