CAA travel advisors share love of Jamaica with JTB & Couples Resorts

OTTAWA — CAA travel advisors enjoyed a great night courtesy of Couples Resorts and the Jamaica Tourist Board recently following a successful day at the CAA conference in Ottawa.

The evening event took place at the CAA Head Office on Bank Street, following the conference at the Fairmont Chateau Laurier.

Top-producing CAA travel advisors and managers joined in for an immersive evening filled with connection, learning and authentic Jamaican flair. There was a fun tie-dye station as well as a culinary station focused on Jamaican dry rub seasoning.

Supplier partners including airlines and tour operators were also in attendance.

Francine Allen, Director of Sales, Canada for Couples Resorts, expressed her appreciation for CAA’s ongoing partnership and support, and gave a shout-out to the JTB and Jamaica as well.

“It was such a pleasure to spend the evening with our incredible CAA partners,” said Allen. “This event was about showing appreciation, reminding our agents of what makes our brand so special, and bringing a little piece of Jamaica to Ottawa in the most authentic way.”

Allen added: “At Couples Resorts, we don’t just sell vacations, we create stories that couples carry with them forever. That spirit was alive in the room.”

Oral Chambers, BDM for the Jamaica Tourist Board, had this to say: “Jamaica remains a leading destination for Canadian travellers, and this kind of immersive experience helps advisors connect emotionally with the island. We’re proud to work alongside Couples Resorts and CAA to strengthen those bonds.”

Patricia Marques, CAA’s Managing Director, and Karen Taaffe, Product Development Travel and Groups, shared their appreciation for the continued collaboration, commitment to agent education and shared vision for delivering exceptional travel experiences.
