Carnival Conversations expanded in 2015 with 180 new trainings and events

MIAMI — Carnival Cruise Line is expanding upon its Carnival Conversations travel agent engagement program with 180 additional events throughout the U.S. and Canada in 2015.

The new ‘Carnival Conversations: More Time Spent With You’ program encompasses 11 roadshow-style events featuring a panel of Carnival executives as well as 169 regional Carnival Conversations training seminars and events with Carnival’s sales team.

“We wanted to kick off the third year of Carnival Conversations by expanding the program in a big way so that we could engage with even more agents in more places than ever before,” said Joni Rein, Carnival’s vice president of worldwide sales. “Travel agents have responded very positively to the program over the last two years and with this expansion, we’re able to deliver exciting product training on new initiatives, including Fun Ship 2.0 and Carnival Vista, to agents on a more grassroots level.”

All events included in the ‘Carnival Conversations: More Time Spent With You’ program will feature the latest Carnival product training, as well as sales and marketing-focused topics, to help travel agents maximize their business.

In addition, each ‘Carnival Conversations: More Time Spent With You’ event will feature a question and answer session for travel agents. The 11 road show events feature panel discussions with valuable insight regarding best practices in sales and marketing techniques from Carnival executives. Travel agents may then ask questions directly during the open microphone portion of the event.

Select regional trainings will be held on Carnival ships while others will be at various land-based venues. As with the first two series of events, agents may register through Carnival Passport, located within the line’s travel agent Internet portal, GoCCL.com. Travel agents may view a full list of Carnival Conversations trainings and events on Carnival Passport, as well.
