TORONTO — TravelBrands has promoted Bryan Klompas to the role of Chief Operating Officer, according to Frank DeMarinis, CEO.

A key member of the management team, Klompas has been with the company for the last 18 years. Most recently, in his role as Executive Vice President of Sunquest, Klompas oversaw the financial and operational aspects of the brand and played a pivotal role in Sunquest’s turnaround and current success.

“Bryan has proven himself to be an invaluable member of the TravelBrands family and moving him into the COO role is a natural fit,” said DeMarinis. “With his talent for strategy development, analysis, planning and forecasting, as well as his in-depth knowledge of the industry as a whole, Bryan is perfectly positioned to oversee all of the day-to-day operations for all of our brands, and will contribute greatly to our future success.”
