More Caribbean itineraries for upcoming winter seasons, says Emerald

VANCOUVER — Emerald Cruises is wooing Canadian travellers with more Caribbean itineraries onboard its 100-passenger, oceangoing yachts.

Emerald Azzurra and soon-to-launch Emerald Sakara will both spend the 2023 and 2024 winter seasons in the warm waters of the Caribbean and Central America. “This is great news for Canadian travellers seeking beautiful beaches, turquoise water ideal for swimming and snorkelling and rich culture in a sunny destination that doesn’t require a long, overseas flight,” says the cruise line.

Travellers who book by Sept. 30, 2022 can take advantage of Emerald’s complimentary extended drinks package on all new bookings of a 2023 or 2024 Caribbean or Central American sailing.

The premium drinks package represents a value of Cdn$1,100 per couple based on an eight-day cruise.

Travel advisors should reference the code DRINKC22 when booking their clients, to receive their drinks package.

Emerald Cruises says it has 10 distinct itineraries in the Caribbean, ranging from eight to 15 days to the Grenadines, Virgin Islands, and West Indies, as well as ports in Puerto Rico, Panama, Costa Rica and Colombia. Another option is the 15-day Discover the Caribbean In Depth, sailing between San Juan, Puerto Rico and St. John’s, Antigua with ports of call in the USVI and British Virgin Islands, St. Barts, St. Kitts, Martinique, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, St. Lucia, and Guadeloupe.

Clients can also opt to visit Cartagena, Colombia and travel through the Panama Canal before exploring the Caribbean on the 11-day Southern Caribbean Delights & Panama Canal. Shorter 8-day sailings plus an alternate 15-day itinerary are also available.
