Atlas Ocean Voyages to require proof of vaccination from all guests

FORT LAUDERDALE — Atlas Ocean Voyages is the latest cruise line to announce a proof of vaccination mandate for all its guests.

The luxe-adventure cruise brand will enforce the new policy starting with World Navigator’s Oct. 4, 2021 voyage. According to the company, the policy was made to meet the ever-changing COVID-19 protocols in local destinations and to best ensure and uninterrupted and safe guest experience.

Atlas is requesting all guests to furnish, in advance, a valid certificate detailing that they have completed their COVID-19 vaccination at least 14 days prior to embarkation. For all voyages, the company will administer a mandatory antigen test at embarkation and require guests to provide a valid negative result from a PCR test taken up to 72 hours, or a valid negative result from an antigen test taken up to 48 hours, prior to embarkation.

All Atlas shipboard staff and crew members are vaccinated, says the company, adding that it will continue to monitor international travel requirements and will adjust its health and safety protocols as appropriate.
