More Cuba ahead with Air Transat, plus cruise perks

TORONTO — Air Transat is reminding agents that come February, it will be offering Canadians additional travel options in Cuba.

The carrier is adding an additional frequency between Montreal and Cayo Coco, as well as between Toronto and Santa Clara. Both Montreal-Cayo Coco and Toronto-Santa Clara will benefit from additional frequency for a total of five per week.

In addition, clients will enjoy a fifth flight each week connecting Montreal with Fort Lauderdale, starting in late December. According to the carrier, Fort Lauderdale and Miami are important departure ports for cruise packages, with nearly 30 different routes.

Each package includes return flight with Air Transat, transfers and cruise.

As a reminder, travellers who book a cruise package also benefit from the following perks:

  • Flight Protection, to ensure clients get to their port in the event of a flight or ship delay
  • The possibility to move up their departure date up to 14 days before their cruise, or postpone their return up to 14 days after their trip, at no extra cost
  • Additional baggage allowance of an extra 5kg for a total of 28kg
