CHARLOTTETOWN, PEI — Stewart Travel Group has been awarded the 2023 Excellence in Customer Service Award from the Greater Charlottetown Area Chamber of Commerce.

With the simple goal of ‘taking care of people’ as its core philosophy, the PEI-based agency, now in its ninth year of operations, specializes in hosted group travel. Having built its reputation and business one client at a time, the agency has set its sights on expansion, now comprising a team of 16 that also includes home-based Associate Advisors in both Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. 

On winning the award, Travis Stewart, co-founder of Stewart Travel Group, said: “We’re humbled and honoured. Being recognized by the Chamber for this award is a privilege, as we’ve always done our best to give our clients the best service possible. Over the past few years the travel industry has gone through so much turmoil, and for us, making sure our clients are taken care of has always been our top priority.”

The Greater Charlottetown Area Chamber of Commerce is the second largest in the Maritimes, with more than 1,100 member businesses and organizations employing upwards of 20,000 people. Its annual President’s Excellence Awards Gala recognizes Island business in seven categories, including the Excellence in Customer Service award, which is given to a business that has shown a strong commitment to outstanding customer service, customer loyalty, community involvement and innovation.
