Amtak Vacations offers 15 new family adventure intineraries

LAGUNA HILLS, CA  — Amtrak Vacations has announced the arrival of their new 2016 Family Adventure’s itineraries. With the growing trend of families and multi-generational families traveling by rail, Amtrak Vacations has created vacation packages to some of the most popular destinations in North America.

With 15 family itineraries to choose from including the U.S. National Parks- Grand Canyon, Glacier National Park, Yellowstone and Yosemite, even up the nation’s capital, Washington D.C.

In addition, Amtrak Vacations has teamed up with the National Park Foundation, the official charity of the U.S. National Parks. The National Park Foundation will receive a portion of revenue from any Amtrak Vacations National Park program, to help fund park education programs and initiatives to create awareness and preservation of the National Parks.

“With the growth in family travel, we continue to expand our Family Adventure destinations,” said Frank Marini, President of Amtrak Vacations. “Our Family Adventures are designed specifically for families of all ages. A Family Adventure by rail begins when you board the train. With a Go pro and an iPhone in hand here is my own Family vacation from my twin son’s perspective on our Rails to the Grand Canyon adventure.”

Amtrak Vacations Family Adventures include daily breakfast, and most hotels have a pool on-site.

A few of the new 2016 Family Adventure’s itineraries include: Glacier National Park Family Adventure, Glenwood Springs Family Adventure, Grand Canyon Family Adventure, San Francisco Family Adventure, San Francisco and Yosemite Family Adventure and Chicago Family Adventure.
