Karst also notes that AmaWaterways launched its ‘Webinar Wednesdays’ program in 2019, during which the line’s executives, including Co-Owners Rudi Schreiner, Kristin Karst and Gary Murphy, give informative live presentations on specific topics of interest to travel advisors.

Designed to help agents grow their business, the webinars have featured AmaMagna’s new Magna on the Danube itinerary, the secrets to selling groups and how to boost sales using social media, among others.

If agents miss a session, they can always view the recorded webinar later at their convenience.

“Travel advisors have been at the heart of AmaWaterways’ success since the company was started in 2002, and we know the important role that training plays in our continued success together,” says Co-Owner and Senior Vice President of Sales, Gary Murphy. “The ‘Webinar Wednesdays’ are designed to provide advisors essential knowledge and expertise to succeed in today’s fast-paced business world as well as to maintain an important personal link between our top executives and our valued travel partners.”
