VANCOUVER — Several hours of flight delays at Vancouver International Airport last night and into the early hours of this morning appear to be a thing of the past, with operations now reportedly getting back to normal.
Yesterday evening YVR posted this message on X: “Flight schedules at YVR are being significantly impacted today due to unexpected staffing constraints with NAV CANADA, the countryʻs air navigation service provider. Passengers may face delays and cancellations especially on regional routes.”
NAV CANADA issued its own statement on X last night, saying it regretted the impact the disruption may have on travellers.
This morning NAV CANADAʻs X post reads: “The flow of traffic at YVR has now returned to normal and the NAV CANADA team is continuing to keep everyone moving safely and efficiently.”
However NAV CANADA still recommended that YVR passengers check their flight status with their airline.
