TORONTO — The 2025 Air Canada Race will take place in Barbados from November 20-25.
This year’s edition marks the first time the event has taken place in the Caribbean. The fun event recognizes and rewards the support of travel advisors across Canada and the U.S. for Air Canada.
After a month of following educational modules, 20 participating agents have been selected to experience an immersive trip to the island.
Eusi Skeete, Director of BTMI Canada, said, the partnership reinforces Barbados as a top destination for Canadian travellers, who remain among the top three most important source markets of tourism for the island.
It will also strengthen connections and showcase why Canadian travellers continue to choose Barbados, he added.
“This event in Barbados is a testament to the enduring partnership we’ve shared with Air Canada for over 75 years and the demonstrated confidence in our ability to deliver an unrivalled experience,” said Skeete. “We cannot wait to share the beauty, warmth, and vibrant energy of Barbados and more importantly, inspire them with experiences that embody the very best that the island had to offer. Together, we will create moments that strengthen connections, spark new possibilities, and showcase why travellers continue to choose Barbados as the ideal destination to elevate their escape.”
Vincent Gauthier-Dore, Managing Director Canada & USA Sales at Air Canada, added: “We’re thrilled to bring the Air Canada Race to Barbados for the first time. Barbados offers an incredible backdrop for this immersive experience, and we’re excited to celebrate and thank the agents who help us connect travellers to the world.”
