GLP Worldwide produces first ever Discover Asia brochure

TORONTO — GLP Worldwide has launched its first Discover Asia brochure, in print and online, featuring destinations like Vietnam, Thailand, Myanmar, China, Taiwan and Hong Kong.

“We are getting increasing interest and bookings from agents where their clients are very keen on exploring a variety of Asian destinations in a culturally interactive way,” said Alan Law, director of sales and marketing for GLP Worldwide. “This brochure will outline the many programs we can offer agents which will give them a true traveller and cultural experience.”

Discover Asia includes excursions focusing on one country or multiple destinations. There are 14 itineraries in total that focus on the culture, history and people of each destination.

Itineraries include the 15-night ‘Incredible Mekong & Hong Kong’, priced from $4,580 per person. Clients start at Siem Reap where they’ll visit Angkor Wat before embarking on a seven-night cruise on the Mekong River with stops at Preah Khan and Phnom Penh. Other highlights include visits to catfish farms and stops in Ho Chi Minh City and Hong Kong.

The eight-night ‘Tokyo, Osaka, & Seoul’, priced from $3,220 per person, includes a high-speed bullet train to Osaka, Japan’s culinary centre, as well as a visit to the National Folk Museum in Seoul. Guests will also explore Changdeok, a UNESCO site, and savour the sights and smells of Seoul’s famous and largest food alley.

Lastly, the 16-night ‘Exceptional China & Hong Kong’, priced from $3,660 per person, starts in Beijing with visits to Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Great Wall. After flying to Xian, guests will view the Terra Cotta Warriors then see pandas and other wildlife in Chongqing. From there, the tour continues with a four-night cruise on the Yangtze to Shanghai, and concludes with a flight to Hong Kong for three nights.
