Saskatoon woman arrested for charging through security, demanding to board flight

SASKATOON – A woman who charged through a security checkpoint at the Saskatoon airport without a boarding pass and demanded to be put on a plane has been sentenced for mischief.

Tammy Rae Chrusch, 32, was given one year of probation and has to pay a $100 surcharge for the incident on Nov. 23, 2014, at Saskatoon’s John G. Diefenbaker Airport.

No explanation for her behaviour was given when she first appeared in court.

When the judge asked Chrusch if she was at the airport to catch a scheduled flight or to pick someone up, she said no.
