QUINTANA ROO, MEXICO — Paradisus Playa del Carmen will soon welcome a brand new waterpark to its family-friendly property, Paradisus Playa del Carmen La Esmeralda.
Opening this winter just in time for the holiday season, the waterpark will be located outside of the Kid’s Zone area and available to all guests of the hotel.
Children from three to 14 years old are welcome to experience the new feature, which will comprise three pools, one of which will include five water slides and dumping buckets. The small pool will act as the splash pool for small toddlers.
In addition to the waterpark, Paradisus Playa del Carmen La Esmeralda will also be incorporating new activities for kids of all ages. These include, but are not limited to, an afternoon pool party for teens, a new snack stand featuring a children’s menu with healthier options, themed parties for families at the main pool, and special surprises for youngsters.
Paradisus Playa del Carmen La Esmeralda offers 510 suites, 120 of which are luxury Family Concierge Junior Suites. Additional accommodations include Premium Suites and the Two-Bedroom Master Suite for larger groups of up to four adults and five children.
Family Concierge is a unique room category that caters to multi-generational families and provides both adults and kids an immersive experience that includes a separate check-in featuring special treats and games in the lobby area. The oceanfront resort also boasts over 13 bars and restaurants, the YHI Spa and Kids Club.
