CanJet laying off pilots, flight attendants

HALIFAX — CanJet Airlines is laying off a number of pilots and flight attendants who have been flying European routes, according to CBC.

President Stephen Rowe told the CBC that the European flying was not profitable.

The carrier’s pilots are concerned about the fate of CanJet Vacations but Rowe said that the tour operator had “great support” in its first year but that pricing was a “challenge”.
