TORONTO — GLP Worldwide Expedition Travel & Tours, which represents a wide range of cruise and land products in Canada, is now offering a GLP Worldwide Specialist Program through Travelweek’s Learning Centre.
Agents have the opportunity to learn about GLP’s complete range of cruise and land products while having a chance to win gift bags but more importantly higher commissions and invitations for future cruise fam trips.
“Our portfolio of cruise and land package products continues to expand and the GLP Worldwide Specialist program is an ideal way to remain up to date on our products but learn what differentiates and the advantages of booking GLP Worldwide over other operators,” said Alan Law, director of sales and marketing for GLP Worldwide Expedition Travel and Tours.
“We are specialists in niche and small ship cruising and cover the world from the North Pole to Antarctica with a variety of culturally inspired journeys that would suit all budgets and interests,” said Law.
Agents can register for the online specialist program by going to travelweeklearningcentre.ca and creating an account unless they have already done so with other specialist courses. There is no charge for taking the GLP Worldwide Specialist program and most agents will be able to complete the program in less than an hour.
The course content includes information on key destinations that many of its cruise and land packages feature: Asia, India, Africa, Antarctica, Greenland, Norway, Europe and the North Pole.
In the course agents will also learn why booking with GLP has many benefits from higher commissions, gift bag incentives, Canadian-based company, pricing in Canadian dollars and staff that are knowledgeable and provide more personalized service from the inquiry stage to when the trip is completed by the client.
GLP Worldwide represents the following cruise and land products: AMA Waterways, Fred. Olsen Cruises, Barging, Hurtigruten, Luftner Cruises, Variety Cruises and Hapag-Lloyd. GLP also organizes many China, Orient, South American and North Pole packages and tours.
Agents who participate in the course and complete it by Nov. 30, 2013 and receive 85% on each of the exams will become eligible for the following: top tier commission on all GLP products made within eight months of course completion; additional $50 bonus commission for bookings made within three months of course completion; complimentary cabin upgrade for agent’s travel within 12 months of course completion (subject to availability, not applicable to suites); special fam invitations; name entered into draw for one of three GLP travel gift bags.
GLP Worldwide Expedition Travel and Tours, Canada’s leader in niche cruise products, makes available to retail travel agencies a variety of Canadian dollar priced brochures at Envoy (formerly Hippo Express).
