Jinling Wei and Herui Travel and Tours Corp. were each charged with one count of operating as a travel agent without registration, contrary to section 4(1)(a) of the Travel Industry Act, 2002 (the Act). Wei and Herui Travel operated in Toronto and elsewhere in Ontario. She and Herui Travel were previously charged by TICO and convicted in November 2012 of operating as a travel agent without registration. The first court appearance is scheduled for Nov. 19 at 9 a.m. at the Ontario Court of Justice, Provincial Offences Court, located at 70 Centre Avenue, Toronto.
