CALIFORNIA — Santa Claus is coming to town… if he ever gets down from his sleigh, that is.
During the Christmas Fantasy Parade at Disneyland on Saturday, St. Nick was left dangling from his safety harness after being launched from a faulty sleigh. And if that weren’t embarrassing enough, he was snapped and videotaped by several parade-goers while waiting awkwardly for crew members to help him down.
Thankfully, Christmas was salvaged and Mr. Kringle was rescued with no reported injuries. And ever the consummate professional, he continued on the parade – on foot – waving to the crowd and spreading holiday cheer.
As for his sleigh, let’s hope his trusty elves are able to repair it before Christmas Eve.
