TORONTO — Vacation.com saw record-breaking attendance at its recent cross-Canada 2013 Fall Regional Conferences, with some 450 agents and 30-plus suppliers attending each of the four events.

“Our Regional Conferences incorporated innovative programs and showed agents many proven tools that they can use in their agencies to make themselves successful,” said Christine James, Vice President of Vacation.com Canada.  “Our goal is to help our members further improve their overall sales productivity, in terms of efficiency and profitability.”

Vacation.com Canada members who attended the 2013 Fall Regional Conferences had excellent reviews about the motivational speaker, comedienne and ‘Laugh Coach’ Judy Koon, who engaged agents on how to ‘Relieve Stress through Humour.  “I always pick up something from attending the Regional Conference and I really enjoyed the speaker this year.  She was great!” said Deb Woloshyn from Above & Beyond Travel in Alberta.

Training sessions were filled to capacity as agents participated in educational offerings including technology updates specifically designed with front line agents and owners/managers in mind.

Sue Urie, Business Development Manager in Western Canada and Linda Khanna, Business Development Manager in Eastern Canada both hosted successful training sessions for members in their respective regions, which were packed to capacity.
