Up to 20% off worldwide trips with Contiki’s new sale

TORONTO — Contiki’s new sale offers Canadian travellers savings worth up to 20% off worldwide trips.

Trip bookings are already up 62% over last month, says the company, which also released new survey results looking at preferred destinations for its target markets.

With the sale, Gen Z and millennial Canadians “can secure their spot on the trip they’ve been dreaming of with a $99 no-risk deposit and flexible booking policy, along with exclusive savings for travel in 2021, 2022 or 2023,” according to sale details released by the company.

“Following the announcement of hotel quarantine restrictions easing in the coming weeks for fully vaccinated travellers, we’re already seeing a booming travel comeback with a huge uptick in booked trips worldwide,” says Sheralyn Berry, President of Contiki Canada. 

“Young Canadians are ready to hit the road again and we’re here to help make their dreams a reality as soon as possible with vacations for a reset, some much needed fun and clients’ wellbeing top of mind,” she added.

Canadian restrictions easing the quarantine for double vaccinated travellers start July 5, 2021. 

Contiki’s latest research based on data from over 10,000 unique searches shows young Canadians are still considering domestic travel, but primarily have their minds set on international destinations across Europe and Asia, with 92% of bookings being made for travel in 2022. 

The most popular international destinations Contiki travellers are looking at for their next adventure abroad are: Greece, Italy

and Thailand. Shorter, more sustainable adventures are also an emerging trend beyond the most searched-for destinations, as millennials and Gen Z are seeking quick Detours to get off the tourist trail, says Contiki.
