Uniglobe Travel simplifies SME travel with new partnership

VANCOUVER — Uniglobe Travel International is making it easier for members to book online with a new reseller partnership with Deem.

Signed last year, the agreement provides access to Deem’s online booking tool (OBT) for members of Uniglobe’s network of independently-owned agencies. The tool has already been provided for 10 clients, with an additional 10 to be released in the next two months.

Etta, powered by Deem, is a business travel booking platform that’s compatible with a wide variety of corporate expense systems. Combined with an intuitive user interface and feature parity between web and app, Etta makes it easy for employees of small- and mid-sized enterprises to book their travel.

“The OBT market was stagnant and we were excited to introduce an OBT that was clean, fresh and has a user-friendly interface. When we show our clients Etta, they are eager to use it,” said Elizabeth Blount McCormick, President of Uniglobe Travel Designers in Columbus, OH.

Speaking on the demand for a flexible OBT, Michael Hicks, EVP Sales + Client Success at Uniglobe Travel Partners-ATL in Atlanta, GA, said: “We’ve seen increasing interest from clients for an OBT that has the capability to work with different expense systems. Etta’s flexibility, combined with Deem support, make it the right choice to meet our clients’ needs.”

According to Andrew Henry, VP U.S. Operations at Uniglobe Travel International, Etta is already operations for Uniglobe Travel Designers and Uniglobe Travel Partners-ATL, with a third U.S. agency being added at this time and more markets worldwide in consideration. “We’ve been so pleased with the Deem partnership and their support in the implementation process,” said Henry.
