TTC’s new Well-being Director video works as a selling tool

TORONTO — The Travel Corporation’s new Well-being Director (WD) video  for travellers and the trade aims to showcase the company’s extensive well-being and hygiene measures.

The safety protocols apply to every valued guest and on-the-road team member, says TTC.

“As your trusted travel partners, our level of exceptional care is reflected in the swift implementation of our new, industry first Well-being Director who is completely dedicated to providing comfort and care to each of our guests for their complete peace of mind exclusively on our Trafalgar, Insight Vacations and Luxury Gold guided holidays,” says Brett Tollman, Chief Executive of The Travel Corporation.

TTC first announced the introduction of its Well-being Directors in June 2020, telling the trade they were investing in and creating the new role of a dedicated Well-being Director who will be present exclusively on Trafalgar, Insight Vacations and Luxury Gold guided tours starting in 2021.

The three-step approach for TTC’s Well-being Directors is as follows:

  • Step 1: Always-on personal support and 24/7 assistance
  • Step 2: Supplier partner engagement and compliance
  • Step 3: Daily monitoring of distancing and hygiene standards

The just-released video is one of the numerous tools and initiatives that TTC has launched to provide enhanced support to its loyal Travel Advisors as they honour their clients’ needs and wishes throughout this recovery period.

TTC says it continues to listen to its agent partners, recognizing they are working very hard to give their clients peace of mind to travel as they rebuild their businesses.

The video reveals the innovation of this Well-being Director role and the extra support on trips, while acting as an invaluable tool for Advisors to use to regain client confidence and reignite 2021 sales.

“We continue to lead through innovation and have united the very best care team in our industry,” says Tollman. “During this recovery period, we want to fully support our loyal Travel Advisors to assist their clients in booking with confidence as they rebuild their businesses, knowing that our guests’ well-being is of paramount importance and we will continue to provide best-in-class immersive and sustainable experiences.”
