TravelBound offers travel agents new Wave Season incentives and training

NEW YORK — FIT specialist TravelBound has extended pre- and post-cruise offerings in top cruise ports around the world through March during Wave Season.

“TravelBound’s inventory of 50,000-plus hotels, including more than 5,000 luxury properties, represents a range of hotel products in the most popular ports,” said President James Phillips. “We are committed to working in partnership with travel agents to help build their business by bringing added value to their clients.”

In addition to Wave Season promotions, Phillips cited TravelBound’s ongoing webinar training for travel agents. The second installment of the ‘How to Book the Perfect Pre- and Post-Cruise Package’ WAVEinar is scheduled for Feb. 23 at 2 p.m. EST.  Jennifer Bond, Strategic Account Manager, will lead participants through how to book sightseeing tours, shore excursions and transfers to enhance their clients’ cruise vacations. Travel agents can visit to enroll.

Launched in January and continuing through March, TravelBound’s Wave Season campaign will add new values and special offers on different major cruise ports each week.  Agents can earn commission on all aspects of the booking with TravelBound, hotel, sightseeing and transfers.

Upcoming weeks will include international ports such as Rotterdam / Amsterdam, Copenhagen, and London. The North American ports of Anchorage, Seattle and Vancouver also will be included, among others.

TravelBound also provides travel agents with sightseeing experiences to enhance their clients’ pre- and post-stay experience. Sample activities range from excursions like the Castle Tour of North Sealand in Copenhagen, to more adventurous options like crossing suspended walkways above a granite cliff during the North Shore Mountain Discovery in Vancouver.
