TORONTO — The Travel Corporation and its family of brands including Trafalgar, Insight Vacations and Contiki Holidays are extending call centre hours in Canada, Australia and South Africa to better meet the needs of travel agents and clients.
“Providing high-quality customer service in a flexible format that suits the busy schedules of our loyal travel agents and their clients is our absolute highest priority so we recognize that evenings and weekends are popular hours for booking travel, and with our company’s customer-centric focus, it was only fitting that we introduced a new program that would allow us to meet our clients’ growing needs,” said Jeff Element, president of the Travel Corporation Canada.
“Working with The Travel Corporation’s customer service departments in Australia and South Africa who receive redirected calls from our Canadian clients during hours when our offices are closed allows us to provide our clients with the same quality service and conduct business during times that work better for them.
Contiki was the first company within The Travel Corporation’s family of brands to provide extended hours, which came into effect Sept. 3. With its continued success and positive feedback from clients, Trafalgar and Insight Vacations extended their customer service hours as of Oct. 2.

Contiki: Monday-Thursday: 9 a.m.-2 a.m., Friday: 9 a.m.-10 p.m., Saturday: 11 a.m.-7 p.m.; Insight Vacations: Monday-Thursday: 9 a.m.-2 a.m., Friday: 9 a.m.-9 p.m., Saturday: 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; Trafalgar: Monday- Thursday: 9 a.m.-2 a.m., Friday: 9 a.m.-9 p.m., Saturday: 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
