TPI signs three-year agreement with TIC to offer travel insurance

TORONTO — Travel Professionals International (TPI) and TIC Travel Insurance Coordinators (TIC) have signed a three-year exclusive agreement.

Starting Aug. 1, 2014, TPI will offer TIC’s suite of existing and customized travel insurance products through the country’s largest network of independent travel advisors.

TIC values strong relationships and is committed to working with their partners to develop their travel insurance business, including the choice and flexibility TIC offers in products that cater to both mass market and niche travellers. In addition, TPI also liked that TIC has the strength of the Co-operators Group of Companies behind them and over 50 years’ experience helping travellers in an emergency.
