Tourico Holidays celebrates its 20th anniversary

Tourico Holidays celebrates its 20th anniversary at Westin Harbour Castle

TORONTO —Global wholesaler Tourico Holidays continues the celebration of its 20th anniversary in Toronto by recognizing its valued travel partners and focusing on the next 20 years of success.

Founded by CEO Uri Argov in July of 1994, Tourico’s combination of technical innovation and industry partnerships has grown the company to be one of the world’s leading travel wholesalers, with some 500 employees stationed in 29 offices across five continents.

Tourico Holidays, a subsidiary of Travel Holdings, Inc., is a leading global travel distribution company that contracts directly with travel providers, such as hotels, cruise lines, attractions, ground transportation and more.

Tourico Holidays works on a high-volume, wholesale model to broker this inventory to over 4,600 clients in 100 countries using proprietary technology.

To mark the 20th anniversary milestone, Tourico is taking its message of working towards a global future on the road, hosting a series of 20 events under its ‘TH Live! A Focus on the Future’ banner. The Canadian event was held in Toronto last week at the Westin Harbour Castle.

In partnership with Destination DC, the celebratory event in Toronto thanked top clients for their partnership and introduced the two newest sales managers overseeing Canada, Deborah Kenton and Fatima Hammouche. Kenton brings over 17 years of travel industry experience and will be based at the newest Tourico Holidays office in Toronto; while recent graduate of the Tourico Holidays Travel Academy, Hammouche will be based in Montreal.
