TORONTO — Sunwing Vacations is reinforcing its commitment to the travel advisor community with the launch of its 2025-2026 winter campaign, ‘Flynancial Universe.’
After last year’s successful ‘Flynancial Advisor’ campaign, inspired by the expertise and value that advisors bring their clients, Sunwing says its doubling down on that commitment by featuring real travel advisors in the campaign creative – to show how advisors are the true vacation heroes.
“Travel advisors are central to our success, and we don’t just say that – we act on it,” said Deana Murphy, VP Trade Sales and Business Development at Sunwing Vacations. “This campaign further demonstrates our appreciation of the travel advisors that work with us. We’re putting real advisors in our advertising and we’re building campaigns that reflect their expertise and the value they bring to their clients.
This year’s campaign introduces Val, a bilingual Flynancial Advisor from Trois-Rivières, QC, whose character reflects the understanding of how advisors work. As Sunwing puts it: “Born in value, raised on deals, fluent in feelings and finances, Val will be the creative face of working with travel experts to share more deals, more destinations and more resort options through cinema-style commercials that include both professional actors and real Canadian travel advisors.”
Yulia Borg from TravelOnly said filming the Sunwing Vacations commercial “was such a fun and memorable experience, thanks to the supportive team I had the pleasure of working with. This was my first time being involved in a project like this, and it was especially cool that a few real [travel] agents were featured—it made the campaign feel so genuine. The positive energy on set deepened my love for the travel industry and reaffirmed my passion for both creative projects and promoting unforgettable travel experiences.”
Val – short for value – operates from the fictional Value Lab, a futuristic command centre that serves as the creative heart of Sunwing’s brand storytelling. The concept emerged from understanding how advisors actually work: researching, comparing, and crafting the dream vacation for their clients. The facility concept showcases how Sunwing and its partners continuously develop new ways to maximize client value.

Sunwing says its expanded winter schedule provides access to even more sun destinations onboard WestJet. New offerings include Samana and Managua, plus new route Thunder Bay-Punta Cana and additional resorts such as Eurostars Grand Cayaoa and Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana.
