New tours through Japan, India & Thailand with Globus & Cosmos

TORONTO — Globus is expanding its Japan portfolio with a new Japan Escape for off-season travel from Tokyo to Kyoto (with an Osaka extension).

Stephanie Brooks, VP, Product and Operations, Globus family of brands, said the move was made to meet demand and record-breaking growth.

Brooks said the company is also refreshing its Visions of Japan tour to shift time from Tokyo to a new overnight in the Mt. Fuji area.

Highlights on the Japan Escape tour include …

  • A tea ceremony, cooking class and 400-year-old gardens
  • Bullet train from Tokyo to Hiroshima
  • Peace Memorial Park and Museum in Hiroshima
  • Miyajima Island and Itsukushima Shrine, with its floating Torii Gate
  • Nara Park’s free-roaming deer & Kasuga Shrine
  • Osaka’s Minami district and culinary culture

In India, Globus’ new Heritage of India & the Ganges River cruise and tour offers a blend of land discoveries and river cruising on the Ganges.

Cosmos is also expanding its India offering with the new Colors of India’s Golden Triangle & Rajasthan.

Also new for 2026, Globus’ Enchanting Thailand includes a long-tail boat cruise on the Chao Phraya River, the UNESCO-listed Sukhothai Historical Park and Bangkok’s iconic Grand Palace.

“Asia is awe-inspiring – but it’s also incredibly complex to navigate solo,” said Brooks. “That’s why touring is the best way to go. We’ve eliminated the guesswork and elevated the experience to help travellers unlock every ‘wow’ moment – without the worry. These aren’t just trips. They’re once-in-a-lifetime journeys made easy and extraordinary.”
