TORONTO — In a move to support continued international growth in its 55th anniversary year, Goway Travel has appointed three new Vice Presidents to oversee key global markets.
“With more travellers seeking expertly curated, meaningful experiences, Goway continues to invest in leadership that drives innovation, strengthens destination expertise and enhances the client experience,” says Goway COO Dean Moore.
With these changes, Bronwyn Hodge assumes the role of VP Africa & the Middle East. Now in her 12th year at Goway, Bronwyn most recently served as VP Communications. She previously served as General Manager Idyllic Islands, driving significant sales growth and product expansion.
Goway’s rapidly growing Europe division will now be overseen by Marc Sison, VP Central and Northern Europe, and Reesa Avelino, VP Europe South.
Coming to Goway with over 13 years of travel industry experience, Sison has held leadership roles across sales, product and business development development. He led the sales team at Kensington Tours, driving sustained 30% year-over-year growth, and most recently served as Business Development Director at the Kusini Collection, representing a curated portfolio of DMCs and lodges across Africa, Latin America and Asia.
Avelino joined Goway in 2018 as a Product Manager for Europe South and was promoted to Director of Product in 2023, working closely with each regional team to strengthen communication and alignment across each department.
Hodge, Sison and Avelino join other VPs specializing in Asia (Moira Smith), the Americas (Sean Hebert), and Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific (Anthony Saba), giving each Goway division its own dedicated VP.
