MONTREAL — Air Canada Vacations has introduced CareFlex Plus, a new travel protection plan designed to give travellers more flexibility and peace of mind when booking their next getaway. 

The enhanced plan allows cancellations up to 24 hours before departure with a refund, reinforcing ACV’s focus on traveller confidence heading into 2026.

“As a leader in the tourism industry, it is our duty to provide the most comprehensive travel protection plan to our clients,” said Nino Montagnese, Vice President of Air Canada Vacations. “Our goal is to empower our advisors to deliver exceptional service and peace of mind to every traveller.”

With CareFlex Plus, travellers can change their booking, transfer their package or cancel with a full refund up to 21 days before departure. They can also cancel up to 24 hours before departure and receive a full refund, less a transferable in-house travel credit of up to $250. 

The new plan applies to new bookings of vacation packages and Flight & Hotel packages to a wide range of destinations, including Mexico, the Caribbean, Central and South America, Canada, the United States, Europe, Asia, Oceania, the Middle East and North Africa.

All ACV travel protection plans, including CareFlex Plus, are fully commissionable for travel advisors.
