Small group journeys now available with African Travel, Inc.

TORONTO —African Travel, Inc. is offering travellers the chance to explore the continent with their private bubble of friends and family through its new small group options.

Available in Southern and East Africa, the small groups feature a maximum of just six clients per journey but are able to depart with a minimum of four guests.

According to Brett Tollman, chief executive of The Travel Corporation, parent company of African Travel, Inc., there is “huge pent-up demand” for Africa right now and small-group travel is a particularly popular option for travel agents who have clients wanting to travel with loved ones.

“Our brands, which include African Travel, Inc. have handcrafted trips that are absolutely right for next year and our protocols are the best in the industry. We’re ready to take travel advisors’ clients on the most amazing vacations in 2021,” he said.

Sherwin Banda, president of African Travel, Inc., added the importance of supporting local communities during this challenging time.

“Now more than ever, Africa needs travel to support its wildlife and local communities,” he said. “One in 10 Africans are employed through tourism. With travel on the mend, clients are choosing brands like African Travel, Inc. because of the company’s commitment to sustainability.”

The new small group options are as follows:

  • Kenya in Style: Each departure highlights the year-round game viewing in the Maasai Mara and includes stays at luxury camps and lodges. Guests are treated to Big 5 game viewing and will participate in conservation projects like lion tracking at Ol Pejeta Conservancy.
  • Tanzania Wildlife Odyssey: Highlights include Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire. While on the northern edge of the Serengeti, guests will spend time in a Maasai community and enjoy night drives and walking safaris that are unavailable in the neighbouring national parks.
  • Spotlight on Southern Africa: This classic safari has all the South Africa highlights, including Table Mountain and Victoria Falls. Clients will enjoy private tours of Cape Town, land and water safaris in Zimbabwe as well as a visit to a private game reserve.
  • Incredible Southern Africa: Guests will embark on private tours of Cape Town, meet Christo Brand, a former prison guard of Robben Island and personal friend of Nelson Mandela, enjoy a safari near Kruger National Park and visit Victoria Falls.

With guests delaying their travel plans until next year, many safaris have limited available. To book with confidence, African Travel, Inc. offers flexible deposit options. For more information go to https://africantravelinc.com/safaris/safari-vacation-packages.
