Trevello wraps up 2025 national conference in Jamaica

TORONTO — That’s a wrap on Trevello Travel Group’s 2025 national conference, which brought together over 200 travel advisors and suppliers for a week of education, networking and celebration.

Taking place from May 4-9 at Hyatt Ziva and Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall in Montego Bay, Jamaica, the ‘Momentum’ conference was designed to empower advisors with the tools, knowledge and connections needed to excel. Attendees participated in a personalized agenda featuring workshops on luxury travel, branding with Virtuoso, leveraging artificial intelligence, and utilizing new Trevello tools like Cruise and Air Central. Also on the agenda were an advisor panel and ‘Meeting of the Minds’ supplier sessions.

“Our goal was to ensure advisors left feeling equipped and inspired to succeed,” said Susan Lawson, Trevello’s Director of Engagement. “We created opportunities for meaningful connection between advisors, supplier partners and our head office. The engagement this week has been amazing and I’ve heard from many that this was one of our best conferences yet.”

Throughout the week, Trevello’s new ‘Momentum’ commission program was highly praised. Launched in January, the program offers an industry-leading 85% commission for all advisors – rising to 100% after reaching $15,000 in paid commission – while maintaining low fees. Since its launch, nearly 300 new advisors have joined Trevello, 68% of whom are new to the industry, bringing the network to a total of 1,172 members.

“We made a conscious decision to put our advisors first, even if it meant absorbing short-term costs for long-term growth,” said Zeina Gedeon, President and CEO of Trevello. “Our advisors are entrepreneurs and we are committed to ensuing they are properly compensated and supported.”

The conference also featured live networking events, including a nostalgic ‘Prom Night’ and a special Travel Advisor Day celebration on May 7, highlighted by a keynote address from Adam Stewart, Executive Chairman of Sandals Resorts International. Advisors enjoyed a festive Caribbean-themed evening at Sandals Montego Bay complete with live entertainment and appearances by Sandals executives.

The week culminated in an awards gala during which Trevello recognized its top-performing advisors and announced the location of next year’s national conference: Ireland. The 2026 national conference, scheduled for May 3-8, will be held in partnership with Brendan Vacations, Tourism Ireland and Tourism Northern Ireland.
