Top TDC travel advisors rewarded with dream trip to Morocco

MONTREAL — Transat Distribution Canada (TDC) recently treated nearly 60 of its top-performing travel advisors to an unforgettable recognition trip in Morocco.

The seven-night getaway to Club Med La Palmeraie in Marrakech, Morocco, held from May 31 to June 8, 2025, was the latest edition of TDC’s Bravo rewards initiative, designed to celebrate outstanding sales performance across its national network.

The Canadian-owned network brought together advisors from its Transat Travel/Voyages Transat agencies, its agent@home program, and its franchise and affiliate members across Canada. Each advisor earned their spot on the trip through outstanding combined sales of Air Canada Vacations and WestJet Vacations packages.

“The advisors in the TDC network are our eyes and ears for travellers across the country,” said Karine Gagnon, General Manager of TDC. “These passionate professionals inspire their customers every day, and this Bravo reward trip is our way of recognizing their tremendous value and saying thank you.”

Advisors were hosted by senior TDC leadership, including Anthony Mormina, Senior Director of Sales and Operations, along with regional managers Dan Prior and Sandra Ferlatte. The team accompanied the group throughout the week, which combined immersive experiences with downtime in the Moroccan sun.

The Bravo trip serves not only as a celebration, but as a motivational tool for agency owners and managers to reward their top sellers. While primarily aimed at advisors from Transat Travel/Voyages Transat, TDC extends the opportunity to franchise and affiliate partners as well. A select number of spaces are reserved each year for advisors from these agencies, who can participate at cost, giving business owners an impactful incentive to inspire and retain top talent.

The Morocco itinerary was designed to combine relaxation, cultural discovery and peer connection. Following their Air Transat flight into Marrakech, the group had time to unwind at Club Med La Palmeraie, where they could take part in a range of leisure activities in a lush oasis setting. Club Med, a longstanding TDC partner, provided the perfect backdrop for both unwinding and networking.

Advisors also had the chance to explore the rich heritage and landscapes of Morocco through curated excursions. These included a tuk-tuk tour of Marrakech, a camel ride through the Agafay Desert, a Moroccan cooking class, and shopping in the vibrant souks. For those looking for adventure, day trips were available to the Ouzoud waterfalls and other regional highlights.

A Bravo Recognition Evening was held at the Jad Mahal Palace, capping off the week with a celebration of Moroccan culture. The event followed a more formal awards presentation at Club Med La Palmeraie, honouring the advisors’ sales accomplishments. Attendees enjoyed dinner, live performances and traditional Moroccan ambiance. “This trip is our gift to you, our way of saying bravo and thank you for your exemplary dedication. And this evening is a celebration of each of you individually and collectively,” said Gagnon.

Looking ahead, TDC has confirmed that the 2026 recognition trip for travel advisors will take place in Portugal’s Algarve region. Advisors will enjoy a seven-night, all-inclusive stay at the new five-star Tivoli Alvor hotel complex.

“TDC would not be able to offer such memorable trips without the participation of its valued partners,” added Gagnon. “And as we are an integral part of Transat, the tour operator’s contribution is essential in creating these memorable trips.”
