Flight Centre Canada's new flagship store in Toronto

Flight Centre Canada debuts new flagship store in downtown Toronto

TORONTO — Flight Centre Canada has opened a new flagship store in Toronto’s financial district, replacing its longstanding location at Yonge and King streets.

Located in Royal Bank Plaza, the new store features flexible spaces, digital enhances – including the brand’s iconic airfare ticker boards – and areas for quick chats and in-depth travel consultations.

The opening also marks a milestone moment for Flight Centre Canada: the 30th anniversary of the launch of its first Canadian shop in Vancouver.

“We’re celebrating three decades of helping generations of Canadians see the world,” said Chris Lynes, Managing Director of Flight Centre Travel Group Canada. “This flagship store is both a nod to our roots and a leap into the future of travel retail.”

Lynes added that nearly 9 in 10 travellers “see real value in working with a travel expert,” especially when it comes to peace of mind and reducing stress. “That’s what this new store delivers: connection, confidence and a reminder that great travel starts with a great conversation.”

The launch complements the travel retailer’s refreshed global brand tagline, ‘Your Centre for Travel,’ which reminds guests that Flight Centre offers more than just flights – it offers full-service options including tours, cruises, car rentals, insurance and more.

The new store is located at 200 Bay Street, Unit 132-A, inside Royal Bank Plaza, and is open weekdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (extended to 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. starting June 1).
