TORONTO — Expedia TAAP has appointed Gail Lea as its new Business Development Manager and Account Manager for Canada, strengthening its support for travel advisors across the country.

Lea brings more than 20 years of experience in tourism marketing, destination development and frontline travel advising. Having started her career as a travel agent, she is well positioned to understand the day-to-day realities, challenges and opportunities facing Canadian advisors.

Her background spans a range of strategic initiatives, including the development of market-specific training programs and sales strategies and the creation of FAM de Femmes, a series of curated FAM trips designed to enhance professional growth and cultural immersion. 

In her new role, Lea will focus on strengthening partnerships with agencies across Canada and contributing to the continued growth of the Expedia TAAP program in the Canadian market.
