KINGSTON — Paul Pennicook, Tourism Director of the Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB) has stepped down from office following the end of his three-year term. His last day was Aug. 18.
During his tenure, Pennicook focused on modernizing the operations of the Board and deepening partnerships with industry players.
JTB’s Chairman, John Lynch, expressed his appreciation to Pennicook and thanked him for his service and contribution to the organization and the people of Jamaica.
The Director of Tourism vacancy has been advertised and a search committee is in place to find a suitable candidate to fill the post. Donnie Dawson, Deputy Director of Tourism, Sales, will serve as Acting Tourism Director during the interim.
