Obama once got kicked out of Disneyland for doing this

CALIFORNIA — Who gets kicked out of Disneyland? Barack Obama, that’s who.

While at a rally for Democratic congressional candidates on the weekend, the former U.S. president recounted a tale about how he was once asked to leave ‘The Happiest Place On Earth’ when he was a teenager.

“We came down here not to go to the Matterhorn or do ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’, but to see Kool & the Gang,” reports Newsweek. “After the concert, because we were teenagers you could still sort of hang out in the park, and we got in the gondolas. And I’m ashamed to say this, so close your ears, young people. A few of us were smoking on the gondolas.”

Obama quickly clarified that he and his friends were smoking cigarettes – not marijuana – after which the Anaheim crowd cheered him on.

But unbeknownst to Obama at the time, smoking on the gondolas was a big no-no.

“As we’re coming in, there are these two very large Disneyland police officers and they say, ‘Sir, can you come with us?’ and they escorted us out of Disneyland. This is a true story everybody. I was booted from the Magic Kingdom,” he laughed.

He did add, however, that the officers told him he was “welcome to come back any time”. He also added that he has long since quit smoking.

Twitter-verse couldn’t get enough of Obama’s hilarious story, with Michael Eisner, CEO of The Walt Disney Company, even getting in on the fun:
