Meeting booking goals with Carnival will earn agents higher commissions

Agents earn more with Carnival’s AMP Up Commission Challenge

MIAMI — For the entire month of September, travel agents can earn higher commissions on Carnival Cruise Line bookings as part of its new ‘AMP Up Commission Challenge’.

With the promotion, agencies can increase their commission rate up to 15% for bookings made from Sept. 1-30 by meeting targeted booking goals set by Carnival. Registration for the challenge, which is part of the line’s popular Travel Agents Rock program, is open from Aug. 1-18 on GoCCL.com.

“We appreciate how hard travel agents work to meet booking goals and with this promotion they’ll enjoy the added incentive of reaching a heightened commission level with just a bit of added help from us,” said Carnival’s Vice President of Sales & Trade Marketing Adolfo Perez. “This is the perfect opportunity for agents to give themselves a greater challenge as we approach the end of the year all while earning more than they normally would for reaching the goals set with the promotion.”

The booking goals are as follows:

  • 21 bookings = 15% commission
  • 15 bookings = 14% commission
  • 10 bookings = 13% commission
  • 6 bookings = 12% commission
  • 4 bookings = 11% commission

During the promotion period, all new active, fully deposited individual bookings made as well as all berthed group cabins will automatically count towards an agency’s booking goal for the AMP Up Commission Challenge. And the end of the challenge, agencies will receive an email summary of their goal achievements and increased commission level for September 2017, if applicable.
