Israel Ministry of Tourism signs marketing deal with TravelBrands

TORONTO — The Israel Ministry of Tourism has teamed up with TravelBrands to develop a marketing campaign that will roll out across various sectors of the Canadian travel industry.

The year-long marketing agreement, signed by Gal Hana, Consul, Director of Tourism for Canada and Frank DeMarinis, CEO & President of TravelBrands, will include everything from digital advertising to OOH campaigns and e-mail marketing. The campaign will help position Israel as a “dynamic destination” that caters to all tourism segments, including cultural tourism, MICE, adventure, culinary and heritage.

“I am excited to sign this agreement with one of Canada’s largest and most innovative travel groups,” says Hana. “This agreement represents the next step forward to spearhead and increase tourism and travel to Israel from Canada following these unprecedented times. We are continuing to focus on the future of a strong tourism market that will help reinvigorate the industry.”

DeMarinis added: “Israel is one of the hottest destinations in the Middle East and has continued to show record-breaking tourism numbers year over year. We are delighted to be working with the Israel Ministry of Tourism to amplify their reach in the Canadian travel and tourism industry and look forward to kicking off our partnership when the world opens to travel once again.”
