TORONTO — Italy came to Toronto last night with guests from The Consulate General of Italy, The Istituto Italiano di Cultura, The Italian National Tourist Board, The Italian Trade Commission, and the Italian Chamber of Commerce of Ontario.
Delegates were on hand to promote trade between Canada and Italy and to promote the World EXPO 2015 in Milan starting in May. The EXPO’s theme is ‘Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life’ with a goal to discuss and promote sustainable food. To complement the theme, a sit-down dinner was prepared by one-star Michelin Chef Giancarlo Morelli from Pomiroeu Restaurant for guests at The Ritz-Carlton Toronto last night.
