PUNTA CANA — W Punta Cana, the first all-inclusive resort under W Hotels, has appointed Patricia Alvarez as Director of Sales & Marketing.
In her new role Alvarez will oversee all sales, marketing, and revenue-driven initiatives for W Punta Cana, leading market expansion, brand positioning, and strategic partnerships.
“It is an honour to join the leadership team at W Punta Cana and help shape a resort that is redefining the all-inclusive experience,” said Alvarez. “As a Dominican Republic native, I’m especially proud to be part of a destination that celebrates the culture, energy, and spirit of our island while positioning Punta Cana on the global luxury stage.”
Alvarez brings more than two decades of hospitality experience leading commercial teams across the Caribbean, Latin America, Mexico, the U.S. and Canada. She joined Marriott’s all-inclusive segment in 2024. She worked with Karisma Hotels & Resorts for three years, including more than a year as Sr. Director of Sales USA, Canada & Caribbean. She also worked for AMResorts for three years, and before that she was Associate Director of Sales & Marketing for Melia Hotels International.
