PUERTO VALLARTA — Starting in May 26, The Westin Resort & Spa Puerto Vallarta will re-brand to an all-inclusive property with a new name: The Westin Playa Vallarta, an All-Inclusive Resort.
The switch will mark the first all-inclusive resort for the Westin brand in Mexico.
Set on 14 acres, and just minutes from Puerto Vallarta International Airport, The Westin Playa Vallarta will represent a bold new chapter in all-inclusive travel, says the company.
The resort’s transformation is part of a multi-million-dollar renovation that has been underway for the past year, aimed at reimagining every aspect of the property.
“We are thrilled to witness the next chapter in the evolution of our iconic resort in Playa Vallarta, an unparalleled all-inclusive destination awaiting customers beginning May 2026,” said Hugo Lecanda, The Westin Puerto Vallartaʻs GM.
Billed as an invigorating sanctuary of wellness, with lush landscapes and endless ocean views, The Westin Puerto Vallartaʻs upgraded recreational offerings include refreshed pools, new pickleball and padel courts, the signature WestinWORKOUT Fitness Studio and the Heavenly Spa.
For accommodation, 281 reimagined suites include 30 private plunge pool suites and 16 swim-up rooms, alongside 10 culinary and entertainment venues.
