Globus unveils 2015 South & Central America tours with $800 air credit

TORONTO — Eight 2015 Globus Latin America itineraries feature destinations including Costa Rica, Guatemala and Panama as well Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador and Peru, and with a new EBB bookings made by Aug. 26 qualify for up to $800 per couple air credit.

The maximum credit applies to 2015 Globus South American air inclusive vacations with LAN or TAM Airlines. A $600 air credit applies for other airlines. Travel must start by March 31, 2015. For 2015 travel beyond April 1, clients can receive a $600 per couple air credit ($400 per couple when travelling with other carriers).

For those who book land-only, Globus is offering 10% off when clients book and pay in full nine months prior to departure.

One new trip for 2015, the 13-day Patagonia: Journey to the End of the World itinerary, starts at $6,021 per person including intra-tour airfare with taxes.  Highlights include wine-making in Santiago and meandering through a colourful market; exploring Torres del Paine National Park and Milódon Cave before embarking on a Chilean fjords cruise that will sail through the Beagle Channel. In Buenos Aires, there’s a visit to the Zanijón Underground Tunnels and a tango lesson with a special farewell dinner.

Other popular Globus ‘Take A Break’ vacations that provide a quick ideal escape to South or Central America include the eight-day Peru Splendors and the nine-day Natural Wonders of Costa Rica.

The tour company’s most sought-after Panorama ‘see it all’ vacation is the nine-day South American Escape, featuring Rio de Janeiro, Iguassu Falls and Buenos Aires.
