Granite expands 2026 Travel Trade Expos with Atlantic Canada return

OAKVILLE, ON — Granite Travel Trade Expos will return to Atlantic Canada in 2026 following a strong debut in the region last year, with three events scheduled across Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.

The Atlantic Canada series will begin in St. John’s, NL on May 25, followed by Halifax, NS on May 27 and Moncton, NB on May 28. The events are part of Granite’s broader 2026 schedule, which will see the expos visit 14 markets across Canada.

Now entering their third year, the Granite Travel Trade Expos are regional travel industry events designed to connect top-producing travel advisors with key suppliers in the communities where they operate. The shows have gained attention for bringing supplier access and in-person engagement to smaller and often underserved markets.

Each expo features interactive consultations and presentations, hosted by Sal Buccellato. The format includes a series of 15-minute supplier presentations followed by a trade show, dinner and prize giveaways.

“We knew the Expos would perform well in Atlantic Canada, just as they had in other markets across the country, but they really exceeded our expectations and we’re excited to be coming back,” said Bradley Dean, Granite Productions. “Agents spoke and we listened; they love the face to face opportunities to interact with suppliers in a much more intimate experience than some of the larger shows.”

The Granite Travel Trade Expos will kick off the Spring 2026 season in London, ON on April 13. Supplier participation is capped at 36 suppliers per event. New and returning suppliers for 2026 include sponsors Bahia Principe Hotels and Resorts, Princess Hotels & Resorts and St Kitts Tourism Authority, along with a broad mix of tour operators, hotel groups and destination partners.

Participating suppliers include Amstel Safaris (U) Limited, Catalonia Hotels & Resorts, Collette, Cuba Tourist Board, Exodus Adventure Travels, Iberostar, Lomas Hospitality, Globus, Nassau & Paradise Island, Oasis Hotels & Resorts, Royalton Hotels and Resorts, Sandos Hotels & Resorts, Sirenis Hotels & Resorts, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Sunwing Vacations, Swan Hellenic, The Special Travel Corporation, TC/Trafalgar Tours, Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya, Visit Central Florida, Visit Myrtle Beach and Visit Orlando.
