TORONTO — Goway Travel is expanding its Africa & Middle East educational event to Western Canada this fall, offering travel advisors in Vancouver and Calgary the chance to meet directly with destination specialists from across the two regions.

After hosting the event in Toronto in previous years, the company has shifted its focus westward for 2025. Travel advisors will have access to 24 partners representing destinations throughout Africa and the Middle East. The events will be held on Oct. 28 in Vancouver and Oct. 30 in Calgary, each running from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. No Toronto event will take place this year.

Attendees will be able to take part in a full day of expert-led learning and networking opportunities. The sessions are designed to deepen knowledge of some of Goway’s best-selling destinations while also highlighting new experiences available in the region. Travel advisors will hear directly from regional experts, gain insider tips and access the latest updates from the field.

The line-up of participating countries includes Botswana, Egypt, Ghana, Jordan, Kenya, Morocco, Namibia, Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

In addition to educational sessions, attendees will benefit from booking incentives and will be eligible to win premium prizes, including trips to destinations represented at the event. Meals will also be provided, with breakfast, lunch and cocktails to close the day.

Spaces for both the Vancouver and Calgary sessions are limited. Travel advisors must register in advance through GowayPro.com, the company’s training and incentive platform. Registration closes Oct. 15 for both events.
