TORONTO — ACTA has announced an impressive roster of keynote speakers for its upcoming 2025 Canadian Travel Industry Summits, taking place this fall in Toronto, Vancouver and Montréal.
TORONTO
Kicking off the summit series, the ACTA Eastern Canada Travel Industry Summit will take place on Sept. 11, 2025, at the Toronto Congress Centre. Attendees will hear from Michael Drever, CEO of BranchUp, who will present a forward-looking session titled “The Forecast for Travel Advisors in an AI World: Bright and Sunny!”
Drever will highlight how travel advisors have the unique opportunity to blend their expertise with innovative tools to save time and deliver exceptional customer. He will also show advisors how to streamline their business and strengthen relationships.
Also in Toronto, Beverly Beuermann-King, a workplace culture and resiliency expert, will address the crucial topic of burnout with her session “Building Resilience and Overcoming Burnout.” This presentation will provide advisors with practical strategies to navigate the pressures of the profession and safeguard their well-being.
VANCOUVER
The ACTA Western Canada Travel Industry Summit will follow on Sept. 18, 2025, at the River Rock Casino Resort in Richmond, B.C. The keynote will be delivered by Kerianne Wilson, Director of Customer Accessibility at Air Canada, who will speak on “Enhancing Accessibility in Travel.” Highlights will include insights into the current landscape of accessible travel, the latest innovations and dedicated efforts, and how advisors can support clients with disabilities.
MONTREAL
The summit series concludes with the ACTA Québec Travel Industry Summit on Oct. 1, 2025, at the Montréal Airport Marriott In-Terminal Hotel.
David Tanguay, Head of Global Sales at Aurora Expeditions, will present “Edge of the Map: Redefining Adventure with Expedition Cruises.” The session explores the growing demand for meaningful, off-the-beaten-path travel experience, from the polar regions to archipelagos. Advisors will learn how to position, sell and personalize these high-value journeys for clients seeking authenticity, sustainability and immersive storytelling.
Attendees in Montréal will also enjoy a guided tour of YUL Montréal-Trudeau International Airport, recently awarded Best Airport Staff 2025 in North America by Skytrax. The tour offers a behind-the-scenes look at the airport’s emblematic architecture, seamless passenger services, local culinary offerings and curated art displays.
