Ensemble reports record-breaking profit sharing for 2023

TORONTO — It’s a good time to be an Ensemble member, with the consortium reporting its second consecutive year of profit sharing.

A remarkable 90% of its members have increased their payouts from the previous year as a result. Last year, 73% of the company’s top performing members earned a higher percentage than they did pre-pandemic in 2019.

According to Ensemble, the notable increase in payouts can be attributed to Ensemble’s strategic focus on bolstering profitability. Central to this success is the utilization of Ensemble’s proprietary booking platform, ADX, which continues to surpass industry standards by delivering above-average margins. By leveraging ADX, Ensemble members have seen higher margins and increased revenue streams, further solidifying Ensemble’s status in the travel agency consortia space.

“Ensemble is thrilled to announce another year of profit sharing, smashing expectations and reaffirming our unwavering commitment to member prosperity,” said Michael Johnson, President of Ensemble. “Innovation and profitability are in our DN, and this stellar outcome is proof of our relentless dedication to delivering on and exceeding the promises we’ve made to our members.”

Feedback from Ensemble members has been overwhelmingly positive. Ross Spalding, President of Crown Cruise Vacations, said: “Ensemble has committed itself to helping travel agencies become more profitable. Not only are they achieving this through profit sharing, but also through marketing, technology and consumer-facing programs that agencies are able to participate in. The combination of all of these is creating a significant value proposition for the agency as well as our advisors and clients.”

Jeff Oestreich, President, Goldrush Getaways, added: “Ensemble’s profit sharing commitment demonstrates its passion to helping members achieve maximum profitability. The entire Ensemble team is fully engaged, committed and truly passionate about the success of its members, but Ensemble’s success is not just about profitability, it’s about the collective growth and empowerment of its members.”

Since being acquired by Navigatr Group nearly two years ago, Ensemble has taken several transformative initiatives, including extensive training, exclusive strategic partnerships, revitalized programs across all verticals, and a cutting-edge tech stack anchored by the ADX platform. Its revitalized marketing program also includes a series of annual branded events, including Uncharted, a virtual event that will be followed by a month-long virtual expo in May, the inaugural Skyline regional events in multiple Canadian cities, the upcoming Summit for owners and managers in Phoenix, and Horizons, which unites the entire consortium.
