TORONTO — To help agents earn more and save time while planning group travel, Trafalgar has announced a new dedicated Groups team as well as lucrative commissions on group bookings.
The new initiatives are part of the company’s ongoing #AgentsFirst commitment, which emphasizes Trafalgar’s dedication to its loyal Canadian agents.
With this new incentive, agents who book 9+ passengers will receive $150 in bonus commission. Those who book 16 or more will receive $250.
“Trafalgar continues to support our Canadian agents for a very successful 2018 selling season with our group bookings and our enhanced, dedicated Groups team,” said Wolf Paunic, president of Trafalgar Canada. “We can create customized group itineraries across six continents including the upcoming 75th D-Day Landings anniversary in 2019 and faith-based travels across significant European sites.”
Moreover, Trafalgar has further enhanced its Groups Department, with Groups Sales Manager Liz Raposo leading the team. She has worked with Trafalgar for the past six years, with a total of 18 years in the Canadian travel industry.
The Groups team can create custom itineraries anywhere in Europe, Britain & Ireland, USA & Canada, South America, Australia, New Zealand, South East Asia, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Morocco, Egypt, Turkey, Jordan and Israel.
“There are lots of opportunities to build small groups for the 2018 selling season since we can customize, create and work along with our trade partners to help focus on their client’s needs,” said Raposo. “Agents booking an allocation or a custom group can expect a seamless booking experience for any type of travel including family, friends, faith-based trips along with our Oberammergau trips for 2020.”
